Bringing soft papers is recommended especially in case you have diarrhea.

He says that he can see the ground when the lid opens even if the shape looks a normal western water flushing toilet. The position of the entrance and the toilet is strage because we have to approach the toilet from the back. And squared shape... Everything of this toilet is strange.

The infamous Egyptian WASHLET prototype!
As the washing nozzle is not pulled into the toilet, it is usually clogged with the previous user's... It is not recommended to turn a tap on. If you try anyway, you will experience a horrible scene.

Thank you for your post.
Sometimes we encounter urinals installed on a high position for some reason, even if height of local people looks same as us. Is it vanity? What you say - avoiding a splash is a new point of view. Indeed!
