"Ou" means where. "Les toilettes" means a restroom.

Most of toilets are sitting style(western style). In public facilities, stations, bus terminals etc., you may find squatting style toilets also. To do it at your hotel before you go out is recommended if you can't use it. Using restrooms of Cafe is also one of good way.
Thank you for your post. When you flush the toilet, the toilet seat turns around and it is disinfected. However, the vertical size seems a little short for European people. And I am afraid the sanitizer tank on the back would be cold and would hurt an user's back.
